Micro Studies and Exhibition

The following page lays out a series of prototypes and visual studies. The first project is a set of images in a surreal setting with realistic characteristics (collaboration with Eva Yiang). The second project is a proposal to borrow architectural features and implement them in a furniture line. The one to one sample of a lounge chair executes the idea of notched furniture. The prototype following the chair is a “wildlife corridor knot” that links design across species. The device aims to decrease bird collision in New York while tying together city parks and create a visual guidance to the park system for New Yorkers. The analysis on Oscar Niemeyer’s house is completed in collaboration with Alek Tomich.

These studies demonstrate a personal design intention across a range of media and scale.
